My name is Brian Hilton. I am a full-time teacher of history with an enduring passion and enthusiasm for the subject. It is my ambition to bring history out of the textbooks and into the hearts and minds of people of all ages and backgrounds. My objective is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge; to enhance understanding; to foster civic engagement and participation; and to open a dialogue with the past with the goal of informing the present in order to build a better future. Twenty years of involvement in education, research, and historical interpretation inform every lecture, presentation, and performance.
